The next member of our #Shawston Spotlight Squad is Melissa East.
Melissa is such a captivating person, having faced the ultimate battle against cancer at only 23 Melissa fought her way to recovery and set about picking up her career from where she left off, she is now Head of Purchasing of the #Shawston Group. This girl can.
The Spotlight series focuses on our co-owners and the strengths, experience and opportunities they bring to the #Shawston family table.
Being part of the #EO community and part of the Employee Ownership Association has played a massive part in our #EO journey and these Spotlight articles are a true testament to all of our co-owners.

As an independent business we thought it would be a good idea to focus on a couple of other independent businesses that have helped #Shawston carve a path through the current economic climate.
Supporting independent businesses has never been more important than right now, many businesses have suffered tremendously at the hands of the global pandemic.
As February is the official month of ‘love’, our “Love your Independents” feature will give a Shawston Shout Out to a local business that always goes the extra mile for us whatever the weather.
First up this week is our IT support service company #FacesOfPinnacle a national IT business which have played a massive part in upgrading our IT infrastructure, whilst being a big support to the business as we grow.
